What can a regular Perth GP do in ADHD care?

How prescribing works in WA

WA uses the Monitored Medicines Prescribing Code for S8 stimulant medicines. Approved specialists can initiate treatment for ADHD without individual CEO authorisation when the code conditions are met. Other circumstances require written authorisation. A GP or nurse practitioner may continue treatment in eligible shared care but cannot initiate it.
