The Kantoko Difference
A dedicated ADHD care team for the long term, with support that evolves as your needs change.
Assessment is only the beginning
For many adults, ADHD care does not end with an assessment. Symptoms shift, medication may need adjusting, and life circumstances change.
Where many telehealth models stop
Many ADHD telehealth clinics stop at assessment and initial prescribing. For people who need ongoing support, that can leave a gap.
How Kantoko is different
Kantoko fills that gap. A dedicated clinical team supports your care from the start, with treatment plans that adapt as your needs change over time.
What this looks like at Kantoko

Who Kantoko is for
Busy adults balancing work, family, and everyday responsibilities
People who want ADHD care that fits into a full life, with telehealth appointments and ongoing support that is easier to access and maintain.
Parents, especially mothers, recognising ADHD in themselves
For many adults, questions about their own ADHD begin when their child is assessed. Kantoko supports adults who are exploring this for the first time and looking for both assessment and ongoing care.
Adults exploring ADHD later in life
Some people only begin considering ADHD in their 40s, 50s, or later, after years of feeling that something has been missed. Kantoko may suit adults looking for clarity, treatment, and longer-term support at any stage of life.
People in regional and rural Australia
For adults living outside major cities, accessing ADHD assessment and ongoing care can be difficult. Kantoko's telehealth-first model helps make care more accessible, wherever you are based.
Common questions
It means your care is supported by a clinical team, not just a single clinician in isolation. Different members of the Kantoko Clinical Team may be involved at different stages, working from a shared understanding of your history and treatment plan.
Kantoko is designed for adults seeking ongoing ADHD care beyond initial assessment, with treatment plans built around their individual needs that can adapt as circumstances change over time.
Many telehealth clinics are built around fast assessment and initial prescribing with a single clinician. Kantoko uses a collaborative care model with a dedicated clinical team, individualised treatment plans, and ongoing support designed for the long term.
Yes. To begin care with Kantoko, you will need a GP referral.
Before your appointment, we also require baseline health checks for clinical safety, including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and an ECG.
You will also need the following blood tests:
- FBC
- EUC
- LFT
- TFT
- B12/folate
- Iron studies
These requirements help us assess treatment safely and appropriately. For the full referral and pre-appointment requirements, please see our Referrers page.
After your initial ADHD assessment, if you are diagnosed with ADHD, your clinician will work with you to build a treatment plan tailored to your clinical needs. Ongoing care may include follow-up appointments, medication reviews and adjustments where appropriate, and continued support to ensure your treatment remains effective as your needs evolve over time.
Yes. Many patients transfer to Kantoko from another ADHD clinic when they are looking for more continuity and a longer-term approach to ADHD care. We aim to make the transition as smooth and straightforward as possible. To support safe and appropriate care, you will still need a referral and the required tests before getting started with Kantoko.
