Clinical Focus & Expertise

Dr Bob Vickers is an experienced mental health clinician with a focus on adult ADHD — particularly in women and gender-diverse patients. With a background in rural medicine, women’s health, and reproductive care, he brings a holistic, inclusive lens to assessment and treatment, recognising how symptoms can present differently across gender and life stages. At Kantoko, he supports patients across the full ADHD care pathway, with a strong interest in hormonal health, PMDD, and gender-informed care.

Why Kantoko?

Dr Vickers joined Kantoko to help close the care gap for neurodivergent adults, particularly those who have gone years without recognition or access to appropriate support. He values Kantoko’s focus on evidence-based, affirming ADHD care — and brings deep experience in working with patients whose ADHD may have been masked or misunderstood in traditional settings.

A Bit About Robert

Bob was born and raised in rural NSW, but is now based in Tasmania with his family. Outside of medicine, he enjoys video games, spending time in nature, and is an eco-socialist. He’s also a vocal advocate for environmental health, social justice and healthcare equity
